Bindex® at WCO-IOF-ESCEO 2026 in Prague

It was a pleasure for Bone Index to take part in WCO-IOF-ESCEO 2026 in Prague, where Janne Karjalainen spoke in the opening ceremony ESCEO-WHO Innovation Session about the role of Bindex® pulse-echo ultrasonometry (PEUS) in supporting point-of-care osteoporosis screening and the prevention of fragility fractures.

Osteoporosis is still too often recognized only after a fracture has already happened. Point-of-care approaches can help close this gap by bringing bone health assessment closer to real-world care settings, supporting earlier identification, clearer next steps, and more proactive prevention.

At Bone Index, our mission is to make bone health assessment more accessible, scalable, and actionable — helping more people to be identified in time and supported before avoidable fractures occur.
